Here is a 2.9ct Red Beryl that has a very nice gem section at the bottom. This piece would easily facet a stone in the .5ct range based off my experience and after oiling it would be a rather pretty stone with deep red color. This piece is terminated which is one reason this has not been faceted. Keep it as is… or cut it into a stone… the choice is yours once you buy it.
