Halite from Camp Verde, Arizona! Well known for the Glauberite, ‘desert roses’, and aragonite pseudomorphs—halite is surprising uncommon at the salt mines, I think largely due to the lack of moisture. But this is a fine example of the species from this location. Slightly blue hue, and well defined cubic growth. Definitely an older specimen out of the Dodd collection. Grab this one for $95.
